Sir Aaron Klug, OM FRS is a member of the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology, Cambridge UK. He did much of the founding work on the structure of zinc finger DNA-binding proteins (ZFPs) and their interaction with DNA. He is the recipient of numerous honors and awards including the Nobel Prize for Chemistry. Sir Aaron was director of the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology from 1986-1996, and President of the Royal Society. He was a Founder and Director of Gendaq, a company founded in the United KIngdom to commercialize ZFPs and their various applications. Sangamo acquired Gendaq in 2001.
