Driving Instructions

Directions to Sangamo from the Oakland Airport

1. Follow exit signs from the airport.
2. Follow the signs for Highway 880 North.
3. Take Highway 880 North towards Oakland/San Francisco.
4. After passing the I-980 cutoff near downtown Oakland, stay in the two right lanes and follow the signs to Highway I-80 East to Berkeley/Sacramento.
5. Follow the signs to Highway 80 East to Berkeley/Sacramento.
6. Proceed approximately 5 miles on Highway 80 East (stay in the right two lanes).
7. Follow the signs for “Point Richmond – San Rafael Bridge, 580 West".
8. Follow 580-West toward the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge.
9. Continue on I-580 West to the Canal Blvd. EXIT. Turn left at stoplight (south).
10. Proceed across W. Cutting Blvd. and go approximately 100 yards.
11. Turn right into the Point Richmond Tech Center II parking lot.
12. Make an immediate right to Suite A100 (south/east corner).

Directions to Sangamo From Downtown San Francisco

1. Take San Francisco/Oakland Bay Bridge to I-80 East (Berkeley/Sacramento).
2. Merge onto I-80 East looking for signs to I-580 West-Pt.
   Richmond/San Rafael Bridge.
3. Get into far right lanes veering onto I-580 West.
4. Continue on I-580 West to the Canal Blvd. EXIT. Turn left at stoplight (south).
5. Proceed across W. Cutting Blvd. and go approximately 100 yards.
6. Turn right into the Point Richmond Tech Center II parking lot.
7. Make an immediate right to Suite A100 (south/east corner).

1. Follow the signs from the Airport to the Bay Bridge.
2. Continue across the Bay Bridge [this is a toll-free direction] and get into the far left lanes to Highway 80 (Berkeley/Sacramento).
3. After about 1 mile, look for the signs leading to Highway 580 West.
4. Continue on I-580 West to the Canal Blvd. EXIT. Turn left at stoplight (south).
5. Proceed across W. Cutting Blvd. and go approximately 100 yards.
6. Turn right into the Point Richmond Tech Center II parking lot.
7. Make an immediate right to Suite A100 (south/east corner).
