We are currently focusing our efforts to develop ZFP Therapeutics for the following conditions:
Diabetic Neuropathy (DN)
Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS)
HIV/AIDS
Cancer
Monogenic Diseases
VEGF-A has neuroprotective and neuro-regenerative functions and is a potent stimulator of blood vessel growth. However, for full biological effect one requires all the different forms of the protein to be present. That's where ZFP TFs will make a difference...

Another application of our technology is the development of ZFP nucleases (ZFN™) to disrupt a gene that facilitates disease. In our HIV/AIDs program we are disrupting the CCR5 protein in a patient's immune cells to render the cells resistant to HIV infection. We can also correct gene mutations directly in a patient's cells.
