Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to sangamo.com and other on- and offline offerings (collectively, the “Services”) owned and operated by Sangamo Therapeutics, Inc. and our affiliates and subsidiaries (collectively, “Sangamo,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) that link to this Privacy Policy, including our clinical trial websites. Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By interacting with the Services or otherwise providing your Personal Information and other information through our Services, you agree that we may collect, use, share and/or transfer that information in accordance with the terms of this Privacy Policy, subject to your rights and our obligations under applicable law. This Policy does not cover any information collected during clinical trials or other research endeavors that Sangamo participates in, sponsors, or is affiliated with. For information about clinical trials, refer to the Information and Consent form for that trial or study. This Policy also does not apply to Personal Information relating to employees, job applicants, and contractors, who will be provided a separate Privacy Statement from Sangamo where required by law.

Information You Provide to Us

We receive and store any information you knowingly provide to us through our website. If you contact us through our website, we will collect your first and last name, email address, and the contents of your message. If you contact us through one of our clinical trial websites, we will collect contact information you provide, such as your name, email address, and phone number, your location such as your zip code or city and state, and information that we need to qualify you for a study, such as your age, gender, and diagnosis information. Healthcare professionals may choose to provide us with information relating to their specialties, and professional status and affiliations.

If you submit any Personal Information relating to other people to us, you represent that you have the authority to do so and to permit us to use the information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Communication with Us

We collect Personal Information from you when you communicate with us, for example when you contact us or correspond with us.

Forums and Social Media

Our Services may provide forums, blogs, social media pages, or other channels where individuals may review purchases, talk about their experience using our Services, or “like” or “share” content to social media. Content provided in these channels is public and not subject to the privacy protections laid out in this Privacy Policy.Your interactions with social media features are governed by the privacy policies of the companies providing these features.
